I recently went to The Modern Art Museum of Forth Worth, Texas. This was honestly a great experience which I would like to share with you and encourage you to do something you never would really do. Well at least a new experience for me :/ lol just kidding….kinda. Now, what drew my attention to go to a museum was that it was modern art and I really do enjoy looking at art but usually it is something I can grasp and understand, do not get me wrong old ancient art is great too. The history and the story behind it is wonderful but personally I am more drawn into my century. The artist that was showcasing their art when I went was Brian Donnelly he is known as KAWS a New York-based artist and designer of limited-edition toys and clothing. He currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. I have posted his social media information below, so if you are interested to know more about KAWS feel free to visit his Instagram. I took some photos for you to see his eye dropping art.

Should you take your child? If they can behave yes, if not then absolutely not lol. There was a security guard at every corner of the museum and the viewers are not able to get too close to the art it was required to be at least 3 feet from viewer to art piece.

If your like me and you cant resist the art of shopping, TAKE MONEY! lol I didn’t want to buy anything but i just HAD to get this mirror space grey balloon doggy bank and it was $60 so it wasn’t too cheap but it wasn’t ridiculously expensive either; thank goodness because I probably would have still bought it if it was ='( #shoppingissues #notgettingsomethinghauntsme

Food? I am not certain if every art museum carries a restaurant but from doing a bit of research I have not ran into a museum that does not have a restaurant inside. Food, price ranges from $7-$60 from appetizers being the low end to sea food/meat being the priciest.

I would also like to add if you decide to go to a museum check their website before you go and see what discounts they offer such as senior discounts, students, etc…

If you have any other questions please feel free to leave a comment in the comment box, also if you end up deciding to go to a museum I would love to hear about your experience too.
